William Sharkey From a technological point of view, I can appreciate an artist in 2018 taking the time and love to combine high quality tape effects from an Otari while sequencing from a QY700. I think this attention to detail pays off in nice way and fully support what is going on here.

about

First inspired by this reddit post: www.reddit.com/r/fakealbumcovers/comments/9gwzk9/casual_funeral/

Started as an experiment using my Otari MX5050-mk3 to record at high ips and playback at half ips to get the slowed down sound.

All sequencing (save for some drums) comes via the Yamaha QY700. The Arturia Drumbrute Impact provides drums (as well as some internal sequencing synced to the QY700). Most often the Korg monologue handled bass, with pads coming from a variety of synths.
